Dodge and Chrysler Lead the Way in Initial Quality
J.D. Power’s 2015 U.S. Initial Quality Study has named the 2015 Chrysler 300 and the Dodge Challenger as top-ranking in initial quality. The Chrysler 300 is the highest ranking vehicle in the study. This is the first time the 300 has won the award. For the Dodge Challenger, it is the second consecutive year it has won. Additionally, it is the third time in five years the challenger has won. So what standards does J.D. Power look at for Initial Quality?
The study focuses on 2015 vehicles and the first 90 days of ownership. The responses of 84,000 people were recorded. Drivers were asked to record any issues about the car design along with any defects. The car owners spoke and J.D. Power listened. The Chrysler 300 was placed at the top of the Initial Quality test.
