Chrysler profit up 22% due to higher truck sales

With the strong sales of the Ram pickup and the Jeep Grand Cherokee to help them; Chrysler Group’s net income has risen 22% in the third quarter.

The Chrysler Group is hoping for more of an improvement in the sale of their other models such as the Jeep Cherokee as they enter into what they hope will be their 10th consecutive profitable quarter. As they approach 2014 the Chrysler Group is looking forward to another solid and profitable year. The profit expectancy is between $1.7 billion and $2.2 billion.
