Redwater Dodge is proud to support the Town of Redwater in its Pink Shirt Day initiative. On February 25 the citizens of Redwater and businesses across the town are invited to wear pink as part of this anti-bullying campaign.
Pink Shirt Day was first established by two Nova Scotia high school students. David Shepherd and Travis Prince created a protest within their high school where students would wear pink to show sympathy for those affected by bullying. Today the campaign is geared to bring awareness to bullying, not only in schools but in everyday life, in hopes of creating a society where bullying isn’t tolerated.
