The classic Dodge Charger is getting a new update for 2015, preparing for Dodge’s 100th anniversary. Making it feel like a brand new car to the lineup, the update will include tweaks to the exterior, interior and technology, as well as powertrain.

Almost every body panel is being resculpted for a sleeker, faster look. Fans of this muscle car can anticipate a new hood, fenders, front and rear fascias and front doors. A new spoiler will be seen on the R/T along with 20-inch wheels. The R/T and SXT will see new fog lamps. All models will get new LED racetrack taillamps and projector headlamps. Buyers will also have new colours to choose from to make the 2015 Dodge Charger their own.

The inside of the Charger is also seeing updated features, including new trims and a new seven-inch digital gauge cluster. Dodge’s beloved Uconnect system is back with a touchscreen display available in either 5.0-inch or 8.4-inch, 3D navigation, and roadside assistance.

The changes are more than just surface deep with updates such as a new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission that will be standard. Those who love the classic Charger will be happy to know that this new design pays homage to the second-generation model from the later 1960s, specifically the one from 1969. At the same time, it employs the latest in technology and modern design for exceptional style and comfort.

Dodge is celebrating its milestone anniversary in style and car buyers get to participate with a brand new look for their favourite muscle car.
