Hey, everybody, Matt here from Redwater Dodge. It’s incredibly cold out here, so we’re going to walk around the entire outside of the vehicle and we’re going to do it fairly quickly. Then, we’ll go over a few things about this vehicle inside.

Behind me is a 2013 Dodge Avenger in blue. I actually like this blue. It comes with a couple of different names, sometimes it’s Blue Streak, sometimes it’s Laser Blue. It’s blue at the end of the day.

Lexican-coated headlights. Very big, it covers a big chunk of the front of this vehicle. It illuminates everything you need it to while you’re driving at night. On the grille here, you can see the Dodge logo up front. Nobody’s going to doubt what you’re driving.

Now, the Avenger has a bit more of an aggressive look than something like say, the Dart. Not quite as rounded. Tires still have plenty of tread left on them.

As I said, this is a 2013, so it’s approaching its second year of life. It doesn’t show too much wear and tear at all. You can tell it’s been driven fairly lightly. It’s been driven nearby. It hasn’t left the province.

You take a look at the inside of the trunk there, and you’ll see all kinds of space. There’s that non-aggressive Dart look I was talking about there. There it goes. Anyway, lots of space inside the trunk. You can probably squeeze two people in there. I’m not actually going to climb in because I’m cold and I might not get back out. But, it’s there. And it’s not frozen shut, which is a miracle on a day like today.

Turn signals, another door. Oh, that was almost frozen shut. Take a look at the inside here, it’s obviously a four-door sedan. It’s going to be a little better on insurance than some of those sports cars you’ve got out there. Not sure if that’s a myth or if it’s really true anymore. Colour doesn’t really affect insurance, true story. Let’s climb inside where it’s a little bit warmer.

You have no idea how much nicer it is to be sitting in this car than it was to be standing out there. What I’m going to try to get you to look at is the centre console, I’m sorry, the dashboard display, whatever you want to call that thing. It’s a little different looking than some of the cars you’re going to look at. I kind of like the way the numbers show up on the dash here, but that’s just me.

You’ve got your cruise control here on the steering wheel, paddles on the back. Your radio display. This thing does have the option to go to satellite radio, which is great. Fully automatic, of course. Parking brake, safety first. Traction control, nice.

What’s in the glove box? Nothing. It’s waiting for you to fill it with all of your things. And it’s got a nifty little pen holder. Imagine that. Power locks, power windows, mirrors. Lights, all of the stuff you would expect to find in a modern day vehicle.

So, what else I have here is a file for the vehicle. We’ve been going over these in the videos with you lately. What you have up front is your mechanical fitness assessment, the vehicle’s report card. If, for whatever reason, the vehicle doesn’t get full check marks, we do whatever needs to be done to get it there.

So, this one received four new tires, that explains the nice tread on the tires. Brakes, all of that good stuff. Behind this, we’ll save the CarProof for last. This is the work order, so this is everything that went into the vehicle to get it to get the passing grade on the report card. The inspection, the oil change.

Used car detail, that just means we cleaned it. Not that it was filthy, it was actually in pretty good shape. Windshield got replaced. We’re in Alberta, of course, the windshield got replaced. Front stabilizer bar bushings got replaced.

Mount and balance four new tires. All of that eventually led to..oh, I’m sorry, it also says windshield wipers got replaced.  But that all led to our invoice total. So, we put $2000 into the vehicle so you wouldn’t have to.

The other thing we have that we can look at is the CarProof. Now, this is listed right on our website. If you go to any vehicle that we have on the used side, no CarProof for our new vehicles for obvious reasons.

But if you take a look at our used vehicles, we will have a CarProof listed. They come with stamps. This is one is listed as accident-free. That’s always a nice thing to see. No damage records found, no lien records found. Canadian registration, Alberta. Never stolen, no US history and no recall info.

You can see this is where it got registered in Canada. It’s been Edmonton, Alberta, Alberta. You swing it over to this page here. There’s absolutely nothing for accidents. Nothing for damage, no insurance claims ever, no other damage records.

Really, I’m going to say no a whole bunch as I flip through this because there’s absolutely nothing there. 84,000 km on a 2013 Dodge Avenger. Come put the next 100,000 on here. Give us a call 780-942-3629.

My name is Matthias, you can email me at matthias@redwaterdodge.com. I’ll be more than happy to take you for a test drive in this if that’s what you want to do. So, thank you for taking the time to watch.
