Hey, everybody. Matt here from Redwater Dodge, coming to you from our Express service bay. You get oil changes done over here. No appointment necessary. Just drive on up, oil goes out and oil goes back in.

What I’m here to talk to you about today is our 2012 Ram 1500 Sport Quad Cab. First thing you’re going to note, being a Sport, is it does have colour-matched bumpers. None of that chrome business. Obviously, there is some chrome, with your flashy grille and logo.

You’ve got your big Lexican-coated headlights here. Now, this one here does have the normal hood. The Sport hood was opted out by the previous owner. Normal hood goes on. It’s whatever you like.

Another thing you’re going to notice that makes it unique is these are some Metal Mulisha rims. It’s got the scary-looking skeleton guy on there. Yeah, I probably lost a lot of respect from the Ram community there, but what are you going to do. It’s a skeleton but not skeletal. Plenty of tread left on these tires.

Now, being a 2012, you’re looking at a slightly older-looking HEMI badge. It does have the HEMI 5.7L, of course.

Running boards, a fantastic piece of equipment you won’t have to buy yourself. Tonneau cover, also something a lot of customers will opt to add on. Not something you’re going to have to worry about. You’ve got your little extra visors going on up here.

Let’s take a look at the inside of the truck. What you find is a half-leather interior. So this is fabric and mesh, and this is leather.

Power seats, Bluetooth controls on your steering wheel as well as your cruise control options. Paddles on the back, power-adjustable paddles, tilt steering wheel. Awesome looking dash display.

Older style radio system here in the middle, so you don’t have the 8.4″ touchscreen, but you do have a CD player built right into the dash and your console shift. A lot of people seem to miss that console shift as opposed to the knob on the dash. Sunroof, of course. I don’t know if you got a good look at that.

Now we swing around to the back seat of the Quad Cab here. You see the leather theme continues here throughout. No under the floor storage containers on this particular unit, but what you do get are nice, heavy-duty rubber mats. Seats fold up, this folds out, you’re going to need storage on there – boom, done.

As I said, this one does come with the tonneau cover. Also worth noting is the spray-in bedliner. Yet another item you’re not going to have to add on to the vehicle’s cost after you own it. Rear backup sensors as well as a tow package. It’s also wired and good to go. So, swing around to the inside and we will continue.

Join me. A couple of other things I could touch on while we’re on the inside here. You do have your auto-dimming rearview mirror, power window on the back, truck is not currently on so that is not currently opening.

Alpine stereo system, why go for anything but the best. You also have a trailer brake controller over here. I’m pretty sure you would get some awkward camera views if you tried to zoom in from this angle over here.

Next thing to note, the vehicle file. Something we’ve added into our videos as of late. So, what you get is the mechanical fitness assessment. The MFA, the report card of the vehicle. Essentially, these all need to be check-marked or non-applicables. If it is not a check mark or a non-applicable, it does not pass and we cannot sell it. So, in order to give it a passing checkmark, we usually have to do some work on the trades that come in.

So, what was done on this Sport? A used vehicle inspection, used car oil change. Detail. Now, we added a new battery. We also did a wheel and tire mount and balance. New reset switches and stuff. Oh, sorry, temperature sensors. Just minor electrical business.

All in all, it only cost us $1200 to bring this vehicle up to passing grade, that’s not a lot of work for a used vehicle, I assure you. Also worth noting, CarProof of the vehicle. There are damage records found, says lien records found. Lien records are obviously taken care of before you purchase the vehicle. In terms of the damage records found, there was malicious mischief and vandalism of the vehicle. The amount claimed was zero. If that amount was anywhere in the ballpark of $2000 and up, it has to be reported. So this was less than $2000 worth of damage, so this was listed as zero.

Other than that, no accidents, none of that bad stuff. So, all in all, you are looking at a fantastic buy on a 2012 Ram 1500 Sport. You can come on down and take this thing for a test drive. We are at Redwater Dodge. If you drive through Redwater, you really shouldn’t miss us. You can reach out 780-942-3629. Again, my name is Matt.
