Good afternoon, everybody. Travis here from Redwater Dodge. I wanted to go over one of our pre-owned units with you. I know a lot about this Compass. I actually took it in on trade. It’s a 2012 Jeep Compass Blacktop Edition.
As you’ll notice, it has the black inserts where you’re standard-coloured inserts would normally be on any other Jeep. Fully equipped with the Jeep bug deflector on the front and actually branded with Jeep. Huge Lexicon coating headlights.
You’ve also got the regular projector-style fog lamps down there as well. It’s got the 3M, you can come up here and actually see where the 3M coating stops.
The previous owner got some pin-striping work done. Nice sleek look. That’s actually on either side of the vehicle.
Come over here and you’ll notice it’s got the black from factory Jeep rims, seeing that it is a blacktop. It’s actually got this deco all throughout, all the way through the back as well. It is the 4×4.
Another thing I wanted to go over, guys, is the keyless entry as well as the remote start.
I got the hood popped open for you. I wanted to go over a couple of features under the hood here with you. Incredibly easy to latch. It’s got the 2.4L variable valve timing motor. I’m sure you guys will know what variable valve timing is. It’s essentially how fast the valve will open and close, and will give you optimal power in terms of horsepower and torque, fuel economy and things of that nature.
Incredibly spacious motor, everything you’re going to need to have access to under here is right here for you. You’ve got your dipstick here, your windshield washer fluid, your power steering fluid, your battery is there. I mean, it’s pretty straightforward.
The Compass is actually fairly well-equipped. It’s got the premium cloth interior, air conditioning, tilt/cruise, power windows, power door locks. It’s got the heated cloth seats, which is literally my favourite combination of all-time.
Sirius satellite radio capable as well. Also hands-free telephone capable.
Now, this isn’t a paddy wagon, but it still boasts tons of room. You could fit a couple of adults back there. It does have the cupholders in the floor as well. You don’t have to worry about holding things between your knees.
Only 39,000 km. 39, 351 km. I checked the odometer just now. Easy lift-up tailgate there.
We’re going to go over some information with you guys. We’ve got the AMVIC inspection right here. 2012 Jeep Compass, it had 39,316 km when it was done. As I said, it’s now at the 351 mark.
You’ll notice that everything is listed as compliant and signed off by one of our master techs, Scott. This was dated for November 3rd, 2015. Now, if we end up having the vehicle for over 120 days, they’ll end up having to do the inspection once again.
I’m going to be showing you here now guys, to my left is the CarProof report. You’ll notice the VIN number up there as well as the vehicle. No damage records found.
It does have lien records found. Essentially what that means is that when we printed off the CarProof, the check hadn’t reached the previous financial institution yet. By the time you guys get down here to purchase the vehicle, there will be no lien on it.
It’s an Alberta-registered vehicle, not another province vehicle. Never been declared stolen, no US history found. No recall history available for this unit. It is a complete PIN.
The people who drove it only traded it in because we were having one of our beautiful private events and they got themselves a great deal on a new Grand Cherokee. Something with a little more space, and they were looking to do that for themselves.
Anyway, guys, you’re not going to find anything better comparable on the market today. We have an incredible used inventory here. We’re blowing everything out.
