Hey, everybody. Matt here from Redwater Dodge. Going to talk to you about a 2010 Ram 1500 Laramie we have on the lot. Being a Laramie, it is going to be one of your high-class 1500s.
You can see the chrome bumper up front, indicative of the Laramie model. Chrome grille, Lexican-coated headlights.
Now for these new string of videos we’ve been doing, I’m not sure if that came up grammatically correct or not, but we run a full disclosure system here. Basically, what that means is there’s not going to be any part of this truck that surprises you when you come to the dealership.
So, as you can see, trailer tow mirrors, flip out. You can see real easy behind you when you’re towing. Little bit of a scratch here on the chrome, does not affect functionality one bit, just a little less pretty on the eyes.
Quick look at the inside. We’ll go more in-depth later, but you’ve got full leather throughout, power seats, memory seats. No sunroof in this thing, but what you do have is the touchscreen display. It’s going to show your backup camera, tow/haul mode, heated seats, vented seats, heated steering wheel, centre console shift instead of a knob, which some people love, some people hate, alpine stereo system and auto-dimming mirror.
Swing around to the back, you can look at this. It’s a Crew Cab, so you do have a little extra room back here for kids, dogs, whatever else there may be. Little bit of extra storage, coolers.
Tonneau cover on this, which is great. You don’t have to worry about the extra cost associated with one of those and the Spray-in bedliner from Line-X.
Now, we’re going to swing around to the side, as you can see, we’re not missing half a truck. Alright, hop on in the driver’s seat. It’s too cold to stand out here and read this. So, here’s a quick rundown so you know everything there is to know about this vehicle.
What you see here is a mechanical fitness assessment, the AMVIC’s report card for this vehicle. As you can see, the powertrain, the lamps, the instruments, the brakes, the steering, the suspension. Diagnostic trouble codes, frame and body, tires and wheels, electrical. Check marks all throughout.
We cannot sell you a vehicle that does not have a proper thing on this safety report card. Whatever isn’t up to standard, we make up to standard.
As you can see, we did the inspection, we did an oil change, we did a used-car clean. We got the windshield replaced, so there was obviously some cracks in the windshield. Windshield wiper blades taken care of. Electrical, minor. Basically, it was just a check and repair for all lights and bulbs.
Swing over to the next page. Interior trim, so we replaced the driver seat cushion cover. It doesn’t look like Freddy Krueger was driving this truck anymore. Repaired the door trim as noted in the inspection.
Last page just has the bill you don’t have to pay, so we covered that for you. More of the same, replaced lamps.
CarProof. So another thing we do here, all of our vehicles here have CarProof listed right on the website. This one does have damage records found, not going to try to hide it. No lien records. It’s been registered in Alberta, never been stolen, no US history. No information on potential recalls.
So, what was the damage record, you might be wondering. The damage record on this has to do with right front quarter. You know what I know. Obviously had some sort of collision claim on the front right corner. Good news is, it didn’t say complete front of vehicle, did not say vehicle needs to be replaced. All damage has been taken care of on this vehicle. That is the CarProof.
Let’s go back outside and take a look at that right front corner. As you can tell, there are no obvious signs of there having been a collision on this vehicle. However, it’s always prudent to take a look under the hood.
You never know what you’re going to find under here if the vehicle’s been damaged. Obviously, we wouldn’t have bought it or be selling it if there had been any problems. Hold that camera in there, and you’ll see everything is where it should be, bolted where it needs to be.
