Good afternoon. My name is Gerry Varadi. I am at Redwater Dodge in Redwater, a half-hour northeast of Edmonton. I’ve got behind me a 2009 Dodge Journey R/T four-wheel drive.

Under the hood, you’ve got a 3.5L V6 with an automatic transmission. This vehicle is in very good condition. It has 109,000 km on it, is very well-equipped, comes with remote start, keyless entry and all of your usual expectations like power windows, power locks, air conditioning, cruise and tilt wheel.

Some bonuses. Leather interior, power seat on the driver’s side, backup camera, touchscreen radio with DVD player, and there also is a rear seat DVD player, which is nice if you have children. It can make a long trip seem a lot shorter.

In the back seat, you’ll find that it is a lot of room. This is a seven passenger and I’m going to show you just how easy it is to access that third row seating if I can remember which one it is. It’s this one. That slides right up and out of the way and you can easily access that third row.

It comes with leather throughout, which is a lot easier to keep clean. If the kids spill juice or anything like that, it will wipe right up. In the back, you’ll notice the rear seat, when you put them down into the floor, they pretty much just disappear and offer you an abundance of cargo space. Those two middle seats will also fold down flat, so you’ve got a ton of cargo space in there.

It’s an all-wheel drive R/T that is in really nice condition with just 109,000 km, a roof rack on top and the only real blemish I see that’s obvious on the vehicle is a little bit of bubbling on the edge of the hood here. Pretty minor, but it’s there.

Now, I’m going to go through some paperwork with you covering some of the stuff that we did. I’m going to start with the inspection. This is the inspection and to tell you the truth, all of our inspections look the same. Because if we can’t check everything off as a pass, we’re not going to sell it. It will end up at Joe’s Crazy Used Car Lot somewhere.

What we do to make sure it does pass everything is included on this repair order. So you’ll you see we did the full inspection, we did oil change and filter.

The first page for all of our vehicles looks pretty much the same. Second page, there were some recalls; they’ve been addressed. We also checked all of the lights. Any lights that weren’t working are now working.

We did the driver’s side outer tie rod, replaced it. We did the brakes, including front pads and rotors. Clean and moved calipers, we did the rear suspension, upper control arms and bushings. Both sides. We also did the rear suspension and lateral links, replaced on both sides.

There was some damage to a heat shield and we’ve replaced the under-carriage heat shield. Did a four-wheel alignment. We spent just over $2000 reconditioning this Journey.

The last thing I want to show you is the CarProof on the vehicle. It is a clean CarProof. There are no damage records found. We took this from a customer from the East Coast, so it was originally registered in New Brunswick and now registered in Alberta.

That sums up the paperwork, and what I can tell you about the Journey. Ideally, you can come and have a closer look at it, maybe take it for a test drive. If you have questions, you can phone me, Gerry at 780-942-3629 or you can email me direct at gerry@redwaterdodge.com.
