While the truck has a few minor blemishes, this 2006 Ram 1500 still shines. Silver body colour is classy while the tires still offer a decent amount of tread. A spray-in box liner protects your truck and the trailer tow package ensures you’re ready to go with wiring and a hitch. Fog lights brighten the darkest trail while four-wheel drive capability enables you to take on the toughest path.

Inside this truck, you have power heated front seats, power pedals, air conditioning and a CD player. Open up the sunroof on the 2006 Ram 1500 for fresh air and more light. A power rear window lets you keep an eye on your cargo as you travel. Since this model is a Quad Cab, it gives you more room to carry passengers or haul cargo. Morning, everybody. This is Matt here from Redwater Dodge. I’m going to take a quick couple of minutes to go over our newest trade-ins on the lot. So, this is a 2006 Ram 1500 Laramie. It’s a little on the older side. You’ll note that the grille is substantially different than what you’d find on the newer models. This one’s definitely going to be a bit of a classic.

Being on the older side, you’re guaranteed to get a rock chip or two along the way. We are living out here in Alberta. You got a scuff up here on the front bumper. I don’t want you guys to think I’m hiding anything for you. Big headlights. Fog lights down below, which are going to be very beneficial around here. You can still get vehicles without them, believe it or not, in spite of the way things are. The tires still have a decent amount of tread. I don’t have a business card handy, or I’d normally hold that up there for you. How about I do it with a key. You can still get an idea of how much tread is kicking around on those.

You do have the 5.7L HEMI. A little dent up here as well. Carrying on. You do get your power locks, trailer tow mirrors which do have the defrost on them. Swing all the way around the back before we hop into the truck. You’ll see it has a Line-X box cover on the inside, so that’s not something you’re going to have to install yourself. It is wired and ready to go with the tow package on the back, and of course, it is four-wheel drive.

So, taking a look at the inside of this truck, you’ll see you do get leather throughout, not the black leather that’s common in trucks nowadays, but instead you get a grey leather. You still get your pull-out bench for your storage needs you’re going to have on the inside of this truck.

Take a quick look on the inside of this truck for the internal features. Lights, steering wheel, tilt, power seats, trailer brake control, power pedals. All that good stuff. Now, you do have heated seats, a rear slider for the window, air conditioning, CD player, all that good stuff. Sunroof up high. Nifty little dial on your seat as well for lumbar.

So, if you want to hop on in since it’s ridiculously cold out here. No, let’s just head inside the dealership today. Take a quick walk inside the front doors. So, something we’re going to show you on every video we do, everything we’ve done to the vehicle to make it safe for yourself. As far as the actual repair orders go, we did the inspection, oil change. We did the used car clean. All that’s pretty standard. We replaced the pinging seal, freed up the cam assembly, replaced the driver’s side door glass. We got a new battery and cable ends. Four-wheel alignment. Replaced the windshield, front lower control arms. Also replaced the suspension, and we also had some shop supplies. So, in total, we spent almost $3200 to make sure this vehicle was ready to go when you got it. It’s not a cost you’re going to have for yourself.

So, what does that add up to? That all adds up to the mechanical fitness assessment. You’ll notice all across the board, everything is check-marked. The vehicle is 100 percent AMVIC certified and ready to go.

And taking a look at the CarProof for a vehicle that is ten years old, it does have a pretty boring CarProof report. No damage records, no lien records, nothing overly exciting worth noting. Aside from the fact that it’s spent it’s entire life in Alberta, an Alberta truck. Anyway, come on down to Redwater Dodge and take this thing for a test drive. Maybe take it home. You can call us at 780-942-3629. Thanks, guys.
