When Jeep was looking for a fresh name for their new Jeep model, they look to their customers’ feedback to help come up with something new and exciting. The winning name that the customers chose was the “Altitude.” Jeep then did a limited run of Altitude models for the Jeep lineup.
At the Houston Auto Show New Special-Edition versions of Jeep models were introduced. These models were the Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler. They feature the well-received “blacked-out” exterior and can be seen in showrooms this spring.
“The unique ‘blacked-out’ theme of the Jeep Altitude models resonated so well with consumers two years ago that it makes perfect sense to bring them back now, particularly since we have new versions of the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC.
