Hey Guys, Tyler here from Redwater Dodge. Home of the $10 Oil Change. I have behind me today one of our brand-new 2017 Dodge Journey models were going to go through it in-depth today. Take a look at some of the newer features that have been added.
First off it’s pearl white, it’s the Crossroads trim level. Crossroads meaning that it’s an AWD. Take a look underneath the hood powered by the 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine. Nice and clean, all your fluids are obviously going to be full when you buy it; but the yellow caps allow you to kind of make it easy to find what you need to check on a daily basis.
Take a look at the front this is your Dodge Journey grille, for your fog lights down below, headlights, daytime running lights..the whole nine yards. Come around to the side you got your Kumho tire on a nice solid rim, not some hubcap that’s attached. We have proximity entry so don’t need the key to actually do this…I just need the black button to lock it, slide my hand behind the handle and it’ll unlock as well. Let’s take a look inside.
Alright so as you can see a beautiful interior we got the leather seats, we also have a power seat and the eight-way lumbar on that side, you got your CD player still, you got your dual climate, you for your 8.4 UConnect screen and then you have your smaller display in the middle. It does have Bluetooth, it is Bluetooth capable, you got your cruise, got a lovely little console right in the middle. The push start as well as remote start, so if I hit that twice we fire up the vehicle, we’ve got the sunroof; open that up, take a nice look there. A couple cool features about this particular Journey; if you’re looking for a little bit more storage space whether it’s toys, purses, whatever the case may be. Lift that up; passenger side has a nice little compartment there to put a few more features. Let’s jump to the back and take a look in the back seat here.
So it is a seven passenger and as you can see it’s very very news as we’re still peeling the plastic out of it. DVD screen pops down, or should I say rear entertainment. You could easily plug a video game console in there if you wanted to, have it come play up there. There’s your plug-in right down below as well as a 12-volt DC plug-in. Fold this down for arm rest of your trying to keep kids separate or whatever the case maybe. If you need that extra space obviously, that fold up and you get another seat right there.
Take a look in the back you also have a couple more seats in the back, so if you do need seven passengers you can easily have it in the Journey. Lets slide around the very back, so you can see a little bit more. So again, if I need a little more space maybe I don’t need the passenger space; but i’m looking to haul a little bit more, maybe Christmas presents, dogs whatever the case may be. Lots of room. You got tons of space back here to put hockey equipment. So whatever your heart desires you can easily throw that in the back. We do have the backup sensors on the back. Yeah, great family vehicle.
