Good Morning Internet, Travis here at Redwater Dodge. Today we’re going to be going over one of the newest releases from Ram. It’s the 2017 Ram 1500 Laramie package. We are looking at a beautiful Granite Crystal paint colour right off the hop.
You’ve got your chrome plaid, Laramie specific front bumper and grille; even your grille inserts are all chromed up. You have some fog lamps perfect for seeing everything especially right now. It’s a little bit gloomy and rainy
You’ve got your projector style lenses that have been Lexan coated. Nice little chrome inserts there, we’ve got some nice LED work around there for you as well.
Big, beautiful Goodyear Wrangler tire wrapped around a 20-inch, solid, Laramie chrome rim. This is powered by the 5.7L HEMI; you’re obviously going to get close to 400 horsepower here.
Chrome clad mirrors as well with a nice little light feature there. Obviously a Ram 1500 and your 5.7L logo. You got a little bit of a fender flare here with the Laramie package. Which is a nice little add-on.
It is a full-size CrewCab it does have the Keyless Entry as well as a Proximity Entry. With the Proximity Entry as long as you have the key fob on you; push a button to lock, use the sensor to unlock. Ready to rock.
Take a peek on the inside there. Now with the Laramie interior, we’ve got a full leather-clad interior. We’ve also got the leather dash, upgraded Alpine Audio System. We do have a push-button start. The 5.7L HEMI is partnered up with the eight-speed TorqueFlite transmission. This gives you optimal fuel mileage obviously better gearing and ratios for towing and things of that nature. We’ve also got four drivetrain options as far as four by four goes we have four-wheel auto, four wheel lock, 4-wheel low, and of course two-wheel-drive.
8.4-inch touchscreen, this is where you are going to have access to your navigation all the apps on here including your heated steering wheel and your heated seats. Your ventilated seats as well will be controlled here. You’ve also got the analogue options down here so that your heated seats, cooled seats, heated wheel, tow haul mode.
You can turn the parking sensors off in the rear if you don’t like the beeping. Obviously, you can use your camera you can use your mirrors and stuff like that. Parking sensors in the rear are just an added safety feature. You’ve got your hands-free Bluetooth in here as well. Integrated trailer brake, nice little storage spot for your phone right here, a couple of consoles in the center. Shallow console housing your auxiliary port hole, USB, SD card port as well. Deep console for throwing all your old whatever chip bags and stuff, 115 volt or 150-watt power outlet. Perfect for the travelling businessman or a girl with a straightener. Sunroof as well, auto rear sliding window, auto headlamps, high beams as well, power pedals. Power pedals are my favourite thing.
Now you’re going to notice it’s got in-floor storage. As always these are removable so if a can of pop or something explodes in there get a little bit messy just whip it out, spray it down with the hose, and you’re ready to rock.
There is a little bit of storage underneath the seat on your side though guys there’s going to be a subwoofer with that upgraded Alpine Audio System. So, you’re not going to have any under-the-seat storage space but these do fold down completely making a flat surface. If you’re going to be carrying the dogs with you or something along those lines or a dresser and moving something and you don’t want to be worrying about scuffing or scratching up your leather. You don’t have to.
The rear seats are heated as well seeing as is a Laramie. It does come fully-equipped with floormats and things of that nature as well.
Spray-in bedliner, you’ve got the upgraded LEDs for loading things in the nighttime here so whether or not that your furniture, your dirt bikes, your quads whatever the case may be. You’re not going to worry about doing it and strapping down in the dark. As I mentioned previously you got your backup parking sensors in the rear, 7- and 4-pin wiring you can essentially tow any bumper pull trailer. Class five hitch there; as well as a backup camera.
